Loving Long Ears
Loving Long Ears is the new beginning for donkeys who have been neglected, abused, surrendered by their owners or saved from going to slaughter and need a good, loving forever home.
Too often they come to us broken in spirit and without a safe home or grieving the loss of their human partner and longtime home.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Southlake TX, serving North Texas and the Southwest United States.
You can visit their official website here.
If you would like to have Blind and Shutter Guys make a donation in your name please let us know!
Trinity Gap Rescue
The Trinity GAP Club (Girls Awareness Program) was started in 2003 by Steffenie Vela.
It was her daughter’s dream to create a place where girls who were not involved in other school activities could join and become part of their school and community.
You can check out the Trinity Gap Rescue Website for events as they announce them there or give them a follow on Facebook.
Karl and the Blind And Shutter Guy family operate as Foster care for shelter dogs and also help transport the animals from different fosters or to the vetinary office for special care.
2 Mile High Donkeys
The Two Mile High Club was formed in 1931 to care for these town donkeys. Our Club operates on 100% donations from local businesses, memberships, individual and family sponsorships, and grants.
Each year, the Club faces the challenge of getting enough support to cover costs for vet care, food, and shelter at approximately $3,000 per donkey per year. Our volunteers work tirelessly to provide our donkeys with the best care.
You can check out their website with donation information on it here.
Their Instagram is a must follow for donkey enthusiasts.
